In the latest PISA report, which compares the educational levels of most of the countries in the world, Canada is the sixth, and the first among the English-speaking territories. In addition, it is an interesting country because it meets the U.S. and the European ways of life; furthermore, is an industrial and technologically pioneering nation, and has one of the highest living standards around the world. For these extraordinary qualities, MIT School offers its students the opportunity to spend a term in a Canadian high school during the next academic year. They will study at private and independent institutions of international prestige, with a rigorous and comprehensive academic and personal plan, and will be staying with local families in small communities. This way, they will live the full Canadian experience, as any other neighbor would.

To learn more about this possibility, which adds up to the many language immersion programs that MIT School holds during the year in the United States and England, parents may approach the school on Thursday, April 24 from 12:30 to 18:30. There, a representative of British Summer will attend to them without obligation, and will also inform them about summer camps abroad, another fun and rewarding option to supplement the English skills that students acquire during the course.
