We are proud to have outstanding karatecas among our students and alumni. On this occasion, the MIT School family has reached the top in the final of the international Karate league. In the Shanghai Open, with 1158 participating karatecas, Marta Vega Letamendi, a former student of Mit, has won the gold medal by putting in front of the host team in the final with a resounding 5-0. Also noteworthy is the participation of former MIT students Jessica Moreno and María Torres in the Kumite category. On the other hand, our primary school teacher, Víctor Pérez Luque, closes the participation of the MIT Family, in the category of senior male kumite-84 Kg, who did a great job but could not overcome his Jordanian rival by a tight 2-1. Each time we are closer to Tokyo 2020!
