MIT School continues its Career Counseling activities, this time with the help of a pioneer: The University Center for Technology and  Digital Art, U-tad, which offers the only degree in Animation in Spain.

The reason MIT School has this center to give a talk today to pupils from 3rd ESO is that it is the only one training students to work in the sectors that are demanding more qualified workers nowadays.

In fact, it is estimated that Spain will need 500,000 professionals in these areas in the coming years: video game design, creation and programming, animation for film and tv, mobile application development, social media marketing and business management of international companies in the digital area.

In addition, U-tad provides its students a close relationship with the labor market, since it is related to the most important companies in the sector: Ilion Animation studio, creators of ‘Planet 51’ and ‘Mortadelo y Filemón’, or Pyro Mobile, a video game developer with more than 10 years experience.
