José Manuel Egea is the best competitor of all times. This means that he has the world’s best sporting achievements, as his Guiness record proves. The Spanish has won during his career eight world competitions, thirteen European ones, fifteen national tournaments and four international Open, and has been captain and coach of the national team.

His career, which has been recognized by many national and international awards, is now focused on teaching students worldwide (about 10,000 per year). He even has a website with videos in which he shows the kumite techniques that have made him reach further than anyone:  http://egeasensei.com.

However, yesterday, the karateka shared his expertise live with the MIT School teacher Mr. Pérez and a group of athletes. He did it on the tatami of the School, in a very enriching day for everybody that evidenced, once again, the importance of the effort and the perseverance when it comes to achieve great successes.
