Alumnos y alumnas de Infantil se divierten con sus iPads en MIT School

Reception students have fun while playing with their iPads at  MIT School

iPads are a very useful tool for the development of new learning due to its ease of use, its handling with the fingers and the resemblance to a notebook. Movements such as drag, select, touch and move are very intuitive for children, who are familiar with technology practically from birth. To take advantage of all these features there are numerous apps that stimulate learning, encourage their imagination, improves fine motor skills and enhances their personal organization, thus improving productivity. In addition, early access to the digital world commit them to their own learning in new and creative ways (eg, receiving immediate corrections from the programs instead of having to wait for the teacher to check homework) and develop their interest to continue learning also outside the classroom.

All Primary students at MIT School have tablets to enjoy these benefits and also avoid carrying textbooks. And last year, for the first time, we introduced the use of iPads in Reception, because from the age of three, this device favors the work with shapes, colors, words and sounds, and above all, gives new impetus to the learning! The students are delighted with this new method, which is monitored by the teachers through careful choosing of applications adequate to their learning level. This way it really becomes easy to learn by playing!
