golf

Golf is a sport for life: it can be practiced from 4 to 80 years. Besides, its rules involve high self-discipline, and pay special attention to the manners. Because of that, and because it is essential for the student’s professional relations in the future, MIT School has added it to its list of extracurricular this year, along with Graphic Design.

The activity is taught by the Spanish Champion (with the Real Club de Campo de Málaga team) and former member of the Amateur Andaluza Team, Elena García Eiríz. She also holds a Masters by the University of Wales in Golf Course Management, as well as the national and European golf teaching title.

During the classes, the focus is on the hardest part of this sport: the swing mechanics, in order to apply the technic later in a golf course. The students are also introduced to the main terms used in the practice of the game and to its instruments (types of clubs and balls).
