Mandarin is changing from being the language of the future to be the one of the present: China is already a major world power, and its language, with over forty million students worldwide, is becoming an essential tool in the business world.

Since one of the main challenges of MIT School is to prepare students for a successful integration into the labor market, the Mandarin is part of the compulsory curriculum from the age of five. In addition, MIT School is the only center in Malaga where the official examinations of the Confucius Institute can be taken.

As MIT is the only school in the province where Mandarin is compulsory, the institution priority is that no student is left behind in the achievement of this challenge. That’s why the new teacher Ms. Yiyun will travel directly from China to provide support classes and will join to the native teachers Mr. Li and Ms. Nijia. This way, new students will find it easier to reach the level of the group and classes will flow more efficiently.Welcome, Ms. Yiyun!
