The former MIT School student Margarita Morata has got, along with Sonia García, from Madrid, and her teammate from Aragón, Yaiza Martín, the gold medal in the Female Kata Team in the Tampere European Championship, after beating Italy by a convincing 5-0. Likewise, the Male Kata team has won the continental title by beating Italy also by 5-0. These metals were added to the two silvers that Yaiza Marín and Damian Quintero had won, as well as to the three bronzes reached ​​in the Kumite category by Laura Palacio, Cristina Vizcaíno y Matías Gómez.

With these victories, the Spanish team closes a splendid championship and the very young Margarita proves again her worth, discipline and dedication: she is a role model for our students. Congratulations!
