One of the MIT School’s main goals is to strengthen the talent of their students and to prepare them for the challenges that life will put before them. Therefore, the School has decided that 4th ESO and 1st and 2nd year of High School will participate in the Gestalentum program, a three-day event in which the talent of students will develop by influencing 10 key skills:

· Teamwork
· Communication
· Leadership
· Time Management
· Conflict Management
· Changes management
· Creativity
· Entrepreneurial Attitude
· Self-confidence
· Self control

This new ‘outdoor training’ methodology takes place in nature. This engages students physically, intellectually and emotionally, and get them to beat challenges and obstacles arising during the activity with their own resources (skills, creativity, teamwork, etc.)

After the activity, participants will be immersed in a period of reflection with the purpose of reviewing and conceptualizing all behaviors at individual and group level. At that point, they will establish ties with the labor market, and will find meaning in everything they have lived.

The last step is the adoption of new behaviors, most effective and appropriate. In addition, each student will end Gestalentum with a development plan of their powers. Sounds really interesting, don’t you think?
