The MIT School Team poses with their trophies

The MIT School Karate Team keeps collecting successes. This time, it has happened in the Andalusian Absolute Championship, whose winners will compete in the First Phase of the Spanish Championship. In fact, during the tournament, held last January 25 at the Seville town of La Lantejuela, the ex MIT School students Margarita Morata and Antonio García were proclaimed champions in the categories of female and male solo kata.

In addition to these good news, the MIT School student Jessica Moreno won the Bronze medal in solo kata, as well as Lorenzo Marín -who will soon be a teacher at MIT School-. Moreover, the male kata team, made up of Antonio Lorenzo and Francisco José López, got the Gold medal, as did the women’s team, with Margarita and Jessica on it. Mr. Pérez  also won the Gold medal in the kumite mode ( -75kg category).

As if all those achievements were not enough, Antonio García, Margarita Morata and Jessica Moreno are already preparing to compete with the Spanish National Team Cadete/Junior/Sub21 to represent Spain in the European Championships -to be held in Lisbon from 7 to 9 of February-. Congratulations to everyone!
