A MIT School student during a lesson

MIT School’s investment in the Chinese language is clear since its founding. Therefore, the School compulsory curriculum includes the teaching of this language from the age of five. Besides, Li Zhang, head of the Confucius Institute-Han Ban in Spain, will visit on May 2 the school facilities in order to declare the institution a Confucius Institute Official Testing Centre for Exams YCT and HSK.

Additionally, MIT is the first school in Malaga conducting educational exchanges with China centers thanks to the newly created Spanish Language and Culture Course. Through it, students from two highschools in China will learn Spanish from content developed by the school, being tutored in the MIT during the process, and then, will spend a quarter practicing the language in our school . In turn, MIT students will fly to China to practice Chinese and get to know the culture of this burgeoning country.
