After the impressive performance of the MIT School students at the World Junior and Cadet Karate Championships, their coach, Lorenzo Marín, have pay homaged to the winners with these words:

“In this World Championships you have made us enjoy, laugh and cry… You are an example for all our children, and for the not so small, who have seen you train and suffer every day, and to whom you have taught what is high competition in its purest form: how hard it is to lose, how nice it is to get into a team or individual finale, and what it feels like to have a gold medal hanging on your chest while the Spain’s anthem plays in a World Cup. But the best is that you are an example because even now that the World Championships is over, and regardless of the results, you will as always go back to training tomorrow. Because the sun rises everyday in Torremolinos… and we have two years left to fight for a place in the World Cup in Indonesia. “
