MIT School attended EMTECH Spain, the conference on technology and entrepreneurship organized by the U.S. MIT, with PRISA as its sponsor. During the meeting, held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos of Malaga, TR35 prizes were awarded, which the academic institution gave for young researchers as Javier Agüera, founder of GeeksPhone,or Juan Moreno, the solidarity innovator of the year for his technology to rehabilitate patients with strokes.

Furthermore, important figures in the technology world participated, as Evan Henshaw-Plath, one of the creators of  Twitter, and Juan Pablo Puerta, international director of the famous U.S. website Craigslist. There were also present speakers in the field of digital medicine, as Jose Gomez Marquez, head of the MIT laboratory Little Devices.

All of them highlighted in their lectures the technological simplicity, ie, the simplicity of their proposals, as part of their success. And, of course, encouraged everyone to jump on the bandwagon of entrepreneurship, as we do in the MIT School: “In Spain there is a future, but we have to lose our fear of failure. The more you fail, the more you’re worth, because you are innovative . When you finish college, you should have the obligation to be enterprising”, said David Gascón, honored for his sensors developed in Libelium.
