MIT is the only school in Malaga that offers all students the opportunity to choose any of the subjects of the three Bachilleratos, even if only one student is enrolled (the regulations provides that there must be at least 15). Although this represents a greater financial effort for the institution -there are subjects taught just for one or two students- it is part of the institution commitment to ensure that those who trust in MIT can access to any degree they have chosen as first choice .

Because of this, as well as because of the effort of the pupils and the high involvement of the teachers in their preparation (which the young thanked publicly), students in the 2nd year of the 2011/2012 course have got extra high marks in Selectividad: from the 12 students that took the exam, six have got more than a nine. Also, two of them stand out in the province for their qualifications, as they have achieved in the test 9.57 and 14.2 respectively.
