The Andalusian Team champions pose with their trophies

MIT School is again at the top of the karate world! This time was the XXXV Spanish Championships in the U11, U13 and U15 category, held in Oviedo, where the School, along with the Andalusian team, has achieved victory. The latter has been proclaimed champion of the country thanks to the exceptional performance of the Goju Ryu Karate Club, in Torremolinos, that has contributed with its six medals -three from MIT School- to make it happen.

The student Paula Quesada won the Bronze, as well as Alfie Bannister, after a stellar showdown of the highest technical level in the semifinals against his teammate Salvador Balbuena. In the U15 category, José Miguel Quesada made an extraordinary championship; after fighting in six rounds, he only yielded in one confrontation by a tight 3-2. This made him get the third place in the Spanish Champions and the Gold Medal.
