The word “Halloween” (International Phonetic Alphabet / ˌ hæl.əʊi ː n /) is used as such for the first time in the sixteenth century, and comes from a variation of the Scottish English expression “All Hallows ‘Even” (also used “All Hallows’ Eve”), which means “Día de todos los Santos” in Spanish.

As seen in the pictures, students attired in their best clothes to celebrate this fun holiday, that in the school was renamed “HallowMIT”. In honor of it,  different activities were carried on with great creativity: the making masks workshops, the painting games, the works on paper, the decorative crafts… The results have been so great that next year, Plastic Arts teachers, driving force of the event, will try to “get even closer to this Anglo-Saxon tradition through new cultural methods.”
