Cambridge ESOL offers the world’s leading range of certificates for learners and teachers of English – taken by over 3 million people in 130 countries. They help people gain entrance to university or college, improve job prospects or measure progress in English. More than 11,000 employers, universities and government bodies around the world recognise Cambridge ESOl qualifications.

MIT School is one of the University of Cambridge Official Examinations Centers, and the first to conduct such tests “computer based”. With this type of examination, there are more available test dates each year, and also candidates are able to register with an advance of just three weeks from the date of the session, allowing greater flexibility to do it when they feel they are really ready.

In addition, these tests have other advantages, such as faster access to results (online just three weeks after the test) or the chance to use headphones for the ‘listening’ (adjusting the volume individually to suit every personal needs).

The dates for the exams in 2013 are:

  • CB FCE on May 24 (oral) and May 25 (writing and listening). The registration period is open and ends on May 8.
  • KET and PET CB on June 20 (speaking) and June 22 (writing and listening). The registration period is open and ends on June 5. The application for both tests can be fill in at the School.
