We have to celebrate one more achievement of our students, in this case of Baccalaureate: the team of MIT School that participates in the entrepreneurship contest for educational centers Desafío Junior Empresarial has been a finalist.

It is a competition between groups of students of Baccalaureate throughout Spain. With the help of the teacher, students simulate business reality by creating your own company.

Our MIT team, composed of Amparo García Aguilera, Jacobo Elicha Garrucho and María del Mar Pérez de la Cruz Villegas, tutored by Economics Professor Ms. Lobato, are competing with a business project that consists of the development of an App for guidance of the students. Throughout the course they have had to develop their idea, make the marketing plan and make decisions about the legal-mercantile aspects and human and financial resources they need.

Last 9th, in the territorial final of Andalusia, our team won over more than 100 Andalusian centers in competition and demonstrate that their project is technically, commercially and financially viable, obtaining their pass to the grand final.

Only ten schools from all over Spain will travel to Madrid to participate in the grand final to be held on the 25th. A great achievement since no other school from Malaga had managed to reach the national final (we are also the only ones who participated in the semifinals in Andalusia three consecutive years, since we began to participate).
