MIT School gana el Campeonato de España de clubes de karate por cuarto año consecutivo

We have won the Spanish Championship of Karate Clubs for the fourth consecutive year!

MIT School, through the Goyu Ryu club -to which their students and teachers belong- is the center that achieved best results in Guadalajara, with five gold and two silver medals.

Kata Cadet Male: The team formed by students Alfie Bannister and José Miguel Quesada, in addition to Jonathan Fernandez, was proclaimed champion before the Canarias team.

Kata Senior Female: Students Marta Vega and Carmen García and former MIT student Jessica Moreno won the final to Madrid.

Mixed Youth Kata: Antonio Lozano, Salvador Balbuena and Paula Quesada, after realizing an extraordinary championship, added the third gold medal to the club.

Technical Tests:

The Juvenile Team, formed by Alejandro González, Max Ramírez, Noelia Patón, student Paula Quesada, Salvador Balbuena and Antonio Lozano, won another gold medal.

The Senior, with former MIT students Jessica Moreno and Antonio García, the Physical Education teacher Lorenzo Marín, Claudia Casabona and the students Carmen García and Marta Vega, won the Spanish sub-championship.

In addition, the Children’s team got the silver in Kata and in the Technical Tests.
