‘The Confucius Institute is rated as ‘the best and most amazing product exported by China’. Thanks to it, China embraces the world and the world understands China. Until the end of July 2012, 387 Confucius Institutes and 509 Confucius Classrooms in primary and secondary schools have been established; as bamboo after rain, it has sprouted in a period of only eight years. In addition, 160 universities from 62 countries are currently in line waiting to request the opening of a Confucius Institute’

With those words describes itself the Confucius Institute, similar in its functions to the Cervantes Institute in Spain and, therefore, the only holder of official Chinese language tests worldwide. So far, in our country could only do such tests in Madrid and Granada, but soon Malaga, and in particular, MIT School, will host Hanban exams. Thus, students from all over Spain will be able to take these important official tests at the institution. In the video, you can see the point of view of a student from the Confucius Institute of Granada about such official test.

The process will be finally set on October 28th, when MIT’s principal, Don Javier Diaz, goes on a trip to China to participate in a conference that will aim to promote exchanges in education between China and Spain. Xiamen University will host this course, which will run through November 4.
