 Alfie Bannister and José Miguel Quesada hold their trophies

Not only MIT students Margarita Morata and Antonio Garcia celebrate triumphs in karate! During the  VI Trofeo de Primavera de Kárate Ciudad de Torremolinos y Campeonato Provincial de Málaga de las categorías Alevín, Infantil y Juvenil, which took place among 450 competitors from across the province, many MIT students also gained important positions.

Therefore, Alfie Bannister, MIT student in 4th grade, got the Gold and became champion against his teammate José Miguel Quesada, MIT student from 6th grade, who got the second place and the Silver medal. In turn, Carmen Garcia, student at MIT in 1st ESO, won the gold medal and the championship in the Female Junior kata category against her partner Marta Vega, MIT student  in 1st ESO, who conquered the Silver.

In addition, Carmen Garcia also took the Gold in female kumite under 40 kg, and in male child kumite under 36 kg., Alfie got the Silver. José Miguel Quesada also repeated his victory, winning the Bronze after a great fight. Congratulations to all of them! MIT School is greatly proud!
