Alumnas de MIT compiten en la Premier League de Róterdam

MIT School had a great championship in the Premier League held in Rotterdam!

The event, celebrated last weekend, brought together around 2,000 karate experts from more than 120 countries. There, the youngest kata team of the meeting, formed by Marta Vega, 2nd Bachillerato student, Jessica Moreno, a former student (now carrying on her career practice at school), and Carmen García, a 1st Bachillerato student, qualified for the bronze dispute by facing the senior teams of the participating countries. Finally, they reached the fourth place against the all-powerful Italy, a position that feels like a great triumph.

In the individual mode, Antonio García, a former MIT student, reached the third round, in which a member of the Malay team left him without options when losing 3-2. For his part, in kumite, Mr. Víctor Pérez, after a great performance, lost by arbitration decision against Saudi Arabia.

Finally, the winner country of this great Premier has been Japan once again, which does not take away even a bit of value from the performance of our athletes, which was, as always, spectacular. Congratulations! You are a role model to all of us!
