One of the Norwegian exchange students

On February 18, MIT School will host the first exchange students in its history. They will be young Norwegian girls from a School in Horten, the Horten Videregående Skole. Once in Spain, they will stay in houses of MIT student’s families for ten days, during which they will attend school and make excursions with their new classmates.

The language in which they will communicate with the Spanish students will be English, as the purpose of the program is both bringing the two cultures together and  strengthening bilingualism. In fact, more exchanges with schools in England, Ireland and Germany are being defined. And of course, at the end of March, a group of MIT students will travel to Norway to close the exchange with Horten.
