The Spanish Karate Team poses with their mascot

On Monday May 5, both at 6:25 and at 8:00 am, Canal + will broadcast the 49th edition of the European Karate Championships, which will take place in Tampere, Finland. The final round of the masculine and femenine kata team, as well as the masculine kumite team, will be held there. The ex MIT School student Margarita Morata will fight in the femenine kata team.

The Spanish athletes Matías Gómez, Laura Palacio and Cristina Vizcaíno will also participate in this Kumite round. Meanwhile, Yaiza Martin will compete in the Individual Kata Final –to reach her fifth European gold-, as well as the Malaga karateka Damian Quintero, one of the Morata’s training mates.
