In addition to all our Secondary and High School students, last Friday, Anna-Sophie Aagaard Thein enrolled MIT School. This young Danish has achieved the highest grades in Danish history since the current grading system came into effect.

Thus, her average is 13.7, which means that she has obtained the highest grade in each of the examinations she has undergone, 12. She has also taken the largest possible number of tests: six, which include language, history, math, English, physics and chemistry.

Anna-Sophie, who also excels in sports, plans to request access to Harvard, Stanford or one of the best universities in Oxford and Cambridge. However, before doing so, she wants to improve her fluency in Spanish, for which she has contacted MIT School.

“I heard about MIT School very recently”, the student writes in an email to the center. “Everything I read has been very positive, and I admire your values and your educational approach. Your school has an atmosphere and a spirit that I would love to participate and contribute,” she explains.

Although she claims that her own is an “unusual” proposal, Anna-Sophie has already approached with the same idea to other important centers of Belgium and Germany, obtaining in the past her objective of integrating in the classes and even obtaining the best grades and the highest sports performance in both cases.

However, Mr. Díaz, principal of MIT School, admits that they have had more similar cases in the school, so the proposal does not seem out of place; indeed, he and his educational team have agreed to offer the student a full scholarship during the six months she wants to spend in Málaga.

We are sure that this exchange will be a very enriching experience for everyone, because Anna-Sophie is undoubtedly an inspiration for the our educational community. Welcome!
