MIT School, always up to date in educational technology, visited in February the 18th edition of the Salón Internacional de Material Educativo Interdidac, held at IFEMA (Madrid). The fair, celebrated as part of the I Semana de la Educación, reunited the latest innovations in educational equipment, especially in the application of new technologies in the classroom.

Among the interesting novelties that were released in Interdidac -new  Legamaster smartboards, new eBeam solutions and the Lumens display screens– the educational material Imagination Playground were a highlight. This is a kit of large pieces designed by the architect David Rockwell that invites children to design and build the game while they play (giant foam blocks, mats, wagons, buildings, boxes). Its elements have infinite possibilities for children to enhance their creativity when to play, dream, build and explore, qualities that have been recognized by the National Building Museum in Washington, as seen in the video.
