MIT’s student Margarita Morata is the first 16 years old who gets to be a member of the Selección Española de Kárate (Karate National Team). Therefore, since today she is competing in the XXI Senior Karate World Championships, held in Paris. The emblematic Berçy, with capacity for 15,000 spectators, will be full during the five days of the event.
In 2010 (this Championship is held every two years), Spain scored a total of five medals: one silver and four bronze. In her debut, our European Kata runner up participates along with more than 1,000 competitors from 110 countries; we are sure that her tenacity and talent will help the team to get good scores again!
