This week we took part in a special activity organised by Mrs Noel Chilton, one of the mothers at our school.

Students of 6th Primary A and B served as judges today for a snail beauty pageant. They scored the snails during each of three ecology-themed segments of the competition. In one activity, students learned about reusing and recycling trash to keep it from contaminating our snails’ oceans. In another, they learned how to choose human food that requires little water to produce. And in the last, they learned about water catchment systems that lessen the strain on our fresh and saltwater resources. All our contestants and their judges deserve a round of applause for a job well done, saving our oceans in big and small ways.

We would also like to thank Mrs Noel Chilton!
